Charles M. Schron, MD
Dr. Charles Schron is originally from New York City. He completed his undergraduate, medical school and Internal Medicine residency from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Schron then completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training at the Yale University School of Medicine in 1984. Upon graduating fellowship, he took an academic position as an associate professor in Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati. During the next ten years, Dr. Schron focused on clinical gastroenterology as well as education and research, publishing multiple articles in leading medical journals. Dr. Schron moved to the Phoenix area in 1993, where he founded Southeast Valley Gastroenterology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, and small bowel video capsule endoscopy. In his spare time, Dr Schron enjoys traveling the globe with his wife and two daughters.
G. Alan Bracher, MD
Dr. Bracher was born in Colorado and grew up in Ohio. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 1990. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Cincinnati. He also held a faculty position at the University of Cincinnati as an Instructor of Clinical Medicine. In 1997, he joined Southeast Valley Gastroenterology Consultants. Dr. Bracher has received advanced training in therapeutic biliary and pancreatic endoscopy and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He performs all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, small bowel enteroscopy and video capsule endoscopy. His consultative expertise includes liver disorders and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Bracher is married and has three children. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, running, astronomy, and spending time with his family. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association.
Manish G. Amin, MD
Dr. Manish Amin was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in New Jersey. He then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Michigan. After college, Dr. Amin returned home to New Jersey where he received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Amin is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, small bowel video endoscopy, biliary endoscopy (ERCP) as well as consultations for general GI, liver, and inflammatory bowel disease. In his free time, Dr. Amin enjoys playing sports and spending time with his wife and two children.
Sandeep C. Patel, MD
Dr. Sandeep Patel is originally from New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Science with Honors from Pennsylvania State University in 1994. Dr. Patel completed his medical school at UMDNJ- Jew Jersey Medical School and Internal Medicine Residency from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson. He then completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Cleveland Clinic. After his general GI fellowship, Dr. Patel pursued advanced therapeutic endoscopy training at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center-Harvard Medical School. After completion of his advanced endoscopy training, he returned to UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as a clinical instructor in endoscopic ultrasound. Since joining Southeast Valley Gastroenterology, Dr. Patel has quickly become one of the leading providers of endoscopic ultrasound and advanced therapeutic biliary endoscopy in the greater Phoenix area. In his spare time Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, personal fitness, and spending time with his wife and two children.
Yatin R. Patel, MD
Dr. Yatin Patel was born in New York City but grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, California. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley where he graduated sum cum laude. He completed his medical school from The George Washington University, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Patel then attended the University of New Mexico Health Science Center where he completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is proficient in all diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, small intestinal video capsule and biliary endoscopy (ERCP). When Dr. Patel is not caring for his patients he enjoys playing golf, tennis, volleyball and taking hikes.
Christina F. Morgan, PA-C
Christina was born in California but grew up in Phoenix. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science at ASU and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2004. She is NCCPA certified. Her interest in humanitarianism started at an early age in Kenya while her parents were serving as missionaries. She remembers her doctor there as one of her first role models and later developed a love for biology in college. Some of her favorite clinical areas are colon cancer screening, celiac disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease. In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling with her family and gardening.
Molly A. Wyant, PA-C
Molly was born and raised in New Mexico. She graduated sum cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Eastern New Mexico University. She then moved to Northern California and attended Touro University and received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and a Masters in Public Health in 2008. She is NCCPA certified. Molly’s interests include, motility disorders, colon cancer screening, celiac disease and hepatitis C. In her spare time, Molly enjoys cooking, gardening, working out and hiking with her husband and two dogs Bessy and Strider.
Jessica Laurino, PA-C
Jessica Laurino was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arizona. She attended Midwestern University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Masters in Medical Sciences- Physician Assistant Studies. She is NCCPA certified. Jessica enjoys sailing, playing soccer and traveling.
